Clear Your Inbox

followupthen“Free & Easy Email Reminder
Clear out your inbox. Shorten your to-do list. Never forget to followup. All with a simple email address:”

Bottom Line:

Send/forward email to or or <whatever time length> and it will be sent back to you in that time. Try sending an email to to try it. No need to create an account.

I love this service – I can forward emails to (or whatever time) and delete/file the email to get it out of my inbox. It’s one of my current favorite finds.

There’s no account creation (unless you want to for advanced features).

There are other options like to see what you have waiting, every1pm for daily reminders, everywed6pm for weekly, etc. Check them out here.

That’s pretty cool. So does it do years too? I was thinking of taking pictures of the boys now, and sending it for 5 years ahead.

I wish there was a that sent it back in time. My stinkin’ HOA sent my shed request notice right at their 30th day of the 30-day time period they have to inform you only to tell me they need more info from me!!! I was thinking about buying a particular shed at Lowes that was on sale for a month. Now it is no longer on sale. So I needed their email 2weeksAGO!!!

Yes, I’ve set a few things for a couple years from now to renew our passports and a couple that are like 10 years from now just for fun.

I agree – past stuff wd be better: go get!

    Updates from FUT…

Imagine being able to do this by simply adding one ‘cc’ address: Send your team a weekly email reminder to complete a weekly report or activity. Schedule an email to arrive to all participants 5 minutes before a conference call with the agenda and details. Schedule a series of group reminders 2 weeks, 1 week then 3 days before an important event. Now you can! Here are some important changes we have made to the ‘cc’ reminder system to make group followups more productive:

Cc followups are always sent We used to cancel the reminder automatically when receiving a reply on a ‘cc’ followup. This, understandably, led to some confusion when your recipients would not get the reminder. Now, we ask you if you’d like to cancel it. If no action is taken, it stays scheduled.

Followups sent to your recipients now come from YOU, not from “FollowUpThen” We still place “” in the “from” field, however the “replyto” field (the email the reply goes to) and the “name” field (the name they see) are yours. We set it up this way to look as personalized as possible, while still abiding by spam filtering guidelines. Test it by sending a followup to yourself and cc’ing You can also customize your followup if you are a premium member.

Multiple recipients. You can now place up to 15 people in the ‘to’ field of your email and add one or more FollowUpThen addresses in the ‘cc’ field. This will result in followups being scheduled for each individual in the ‘to’ field.

Sneak peak at a new design concept We’re trying to make our followups more minimal, tactful and personalized. Have a look at the imagery on the blog post and let us know what you think!

In summary, you can now finally use FollowUpThen to reliably set reminder milestones for projects with a single email, set reminders for groups and friends, and use email to get stuff done with others. Now is a great time to give the ‘cc’ feature a try.
